Welcome to Young Justice Reviews, a new hopefully ongoing feature here on Advance Comics.  Comics Reviews by Kids and Young Adults by Kids and Young Adults. We kick things off with a review of the Lumberjanes & Gotham Academy crossover by Xavier Aged 9.

This is a fantastic graphic novel- great for young and old. I would recommend this for 9 years of age and over because it gets a bit emotional and there are giant ram skull demons that shoot lightning.

The story is about 5 Gotham Academy students that find their professor’s room ransacked and their professor missing. Then, meanwhile the Lumberjane’s camp leader is missing. And then while the Gotham academy students are in the woods they find each other. And the adventure begins…..

The artwork is really beautiful. Keen readers may notice a slight change between the illustrations as it is illustrated by a few different people.

The story is about friendship and growing up.

It made me want to read more of the Lumberjanes franchise and more of the Gotham Academy franchise.

Lumberjanes / Gotham Academy is available now digitally through Comixology and physically through your Local Comic Store or Amazon.
